We are thrilled to reveal the ten Open competition category winners from the 2019 Sony World Photography Awards. Judged on a single image, the ten winning images celebrate global photography at its best. More than 326,000 images were submitted across the Awards this year, the highest number ever to date.

The Open Photographer of the Year will be announced at the Awards night in London, April 17 and will receive the latest digital imaging equipment from Sony along with a cash prize of $5,000 (USD). All winning and shortlisted images will be on show at Somerset House, London, April 18 to May 6 2019 and featured in 2019 Sony World Photography Awards book.
