Shortlist, Munich Down Under by Arvind Jayashankar

When I visit a new city, I always enjoy exploring its subway stations. The Munich U-Bahn network is one of my favourites; I love its variety of sleek and symmetrical underground architecture. A lot of people ask me how I manage to shoot such empty stations. While some things can be removed in post-production, the patterns and lines make this difficult. I prefer to wait patiently for the right moment and try to get the shot right in camera.
