The pictures show motorhomes (photographed by a tripod) and caravans that have arrived at the end of their journey. The end of the journey is a nature reserve in the south of France. Planned as a movable places they are now arrested in standstill. The Traveler moves in direction to these accommodations instead of using them to travel. The viewer perceives them as land marks, a settlement a part of the landscape but also as a foreign body .....a Settlement at the sea, built from simple materials.A settlement that marked a closed universe.What happens or happened right here? Is it just a campground with cabins made ​​of flotsam? While photographing I always felt observed.The dark shadows in the images represent this mysterious atmosphere. Although the cottages stand near the sea they are not convey the feeling of freedom and casual living. They transform a sense of uncertainty, risk and the excluded one. What kind of stories play out here, what kind Of fates you can find behind the castle-like facades .Without protection from sun and wind these creations are digging themselves in the hot sand and relax in the cool breeze of a full moon night.Is it a sect which perhaps hoping for the arrival of a savior..The question is ... Do we see the landscape as a landscape or we see stories of people in this landscape? An Observation post for a runway of extraterrestrial air traffic? Border posts or supply stations ?Monoliths like tombs .The shown images will tell stories of a landscape that has been shaped by humans and now is the stage our own little stories.The full moon breaks through the clouds and you enter the lighted room that lies behind ...
