Last week we were thrilled to welcome winning photographers, leading voices in the industry, Sony representatives, and press and media to the London Hilton on Park Lane to celebrate this year’s Sony World Photography Awards.
Hosted by broadcaster and art historian Kate Bryan, presenters included Masaaki Oshima, the Deputy Senior General Manager, Imaging Entertainment Business Unit, Sony Corporation; Mariama Attah, Head of Exhibitions at Open Eye Gallery; Alys Tomlinson, Photographer of the Year 2018; Danielle Zapotoczny, United Nations Foundation Sr Director of Partnerships & Communications and Scott Gray, CEO and Founder of Creo and Masashi Takiguchi, Sony Europe President.
As you look through the images of the night, we hope you'll recognise how our aim is the give dedicated photographers the international exposure and opportunities they deserve.
The Sony World Photography Awards 2023 exhibition is currently on show at Somerset House, London to 1st May.
