Today tickets for the Sony World Photography Awards 2023 exhibition go on sale
Kickstarting London’s focal point of photography for the Spring season, the inspiring display (open 14 April to 1 May), celebrates photography in all its varied brilliance. Showcasing images from the Professional, Open, Student and Youth competitions, the exhibition will also spotlight the Awards’ additional initiatives, including the National & Regional Awards, the Alpha Female Award and the Latin America Professional Award.
There are a variety of tickets available, with the standard tickets costing £15, Concession tickets costing £11, Group tickets (must be 10+ people) costing £13.50 – disabled companions and children under 12 years old go free.

Exciting additions to this year’s exhibition include an exclusive space dedicated to recent works by Australian photographer Adam Ferguson, who won last year’s Photographer of the Year for his series Migrantes. Another new feature for the 2023 exhibition is the winning series of the new Sustainability Prize.
The exhibition will also include a special curation of around 20 photographs by this year’s Outstanding Contribution to Photography recipient Japanese photographer Rinko Kawauchi. The display will be a substantial mix from her career, including highlight works from her series Utatane (2001), AILA (2004) and Illuminance (2009) – which all exemplify her idiosyncratic style.
