From freedivers holding their breath for 10 minutes while swimming to depths of 12 metres to setting a world record at the 2017 Para Athletics World Championships, humans' ability to focus on setting what might seem an impossible challenge, and then learning how to achieve it, is one of the most inspiring elements of the human spirit.
