Alfio Tommasini was born in a very small village south of the Swiss Alps. From the first time that he travelled far from home, his desire to meet new cultures has never diminished. Photography pushed him to move, observe, socialize and get closer to people, helping him to discover different points of view and ways of life. Alfio is particularly interested in the relation, adaptation and transformation that people have with the territory where they live. He studied photography in Madrid, Spain (Master in EFTI) and has published and exhibited his works internationally. Alfio Tommasini is currently based in Ticino (Switzerland) where he works as a free-lance photographer.
