2024 Youth Competition Winner & Shortlist

Youth Photographer of the Year

Congratulations to Daniel Murray (United Kingdom, 15 years-old) for being awarded the title of the Youth Photographer of the Year. Selected from a shortlist of ten photographers under the age of 19 years-old, Daniel receives Sony digital imaging kit and global exposure.

Speaking about his win, Murray says: ‘I'm very happy and proud of myself, as this is a great achievement as a young photographer. This motivates me to keep going and improve as a photographer. Thanks to the Sony World Photography Awards for this opportunity!’

This year, young photographers were asked to submit up to three images responding to the theme ‘Through Your Eyes’. The successful images show how the photographers of tomorrow perceive and interpret the world around them.
