Isabela Pacini was born in 1974 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2003, she got a diploma of photodesign at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund, Germany. Since 2005, she has been living and working in Hamburg as a freelancer photographer. Since 2006, she has been winning many awards such as the Image Agency VISUM Awards 2018 - 11th Julia Margaret Cameron Award- Winner Biennial Grant- Runners up Ipoty- International People Photographer of the year 2018 Fine Art Photography Awards, Category Photojournalism- Nominee Siena International Photo Award- Honorable mention 2017 - VG Bildkunst Grant for the project „The Hosts“ 2013 - Sony World Photography Award- 3rd Place, category Sport Shortlist of the Syngenta Photography Award Shortlist of the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year 2012 - VG Bildkunst Grant for the project „New Ordos- Chinas booming ghost town 2010 - Sony World Photography Award – 1. prize, category fashion Visual Leadawards, Germany - honour for documentary photography.
