2012 Sony World Photography Awards - Winner, Nature & Wildlife, Professional Competition
Born in Wroclaw in 1972, Jacek Kusz has always been passionate about animals and nature. He is currently helping to protect the natural forests in Poland. At the age of 15, he volunteered with the Institute of Bird Ecology of Wroclaw University and, after many years, became an honorary co-worker in the Institute of Evolutionary, Biology and Protection of invertebrates in the University of Wroclaw. He has worked as a make-up artist, security guard, horse-riding instructor and interior and fashion photographer. Jacek graduated from the University of Medicine in Wroclaw.
