2012 Sony World Photography Awards - Winner, Contemporary Issues, Professional Competition
Kasia Bielska is a graduate of the Cinematography Department at the Film School in Łódź. She was born in Warsaw, currently lives and works there. After graduation, with her diploma, she won several photo competitions, including the only Polish woman at the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards in the "Contemporary Issue" category. She was a finalist of the global Adobe Design Achievement Awards or Viva Photo Awards in the beauty category. Three times, in the years: 2014, 2015, 2018, she won the Golden Sward in the KTR advertising competition. As a New York Photo Awards finalist, she spent a year in New York, where she photographed for Pratt Institute, Lab Magazine, Nylon, Founders & Followers, Gods Magazine, IMG Models and many others. Kasia Bielska's works could be seen at the prestigious World Photography Festival in London and Riga Photomonth. The economical form of the works and the literal way Kasia moves in the field of fashion smoothly transfers her works into the field of art.
