2018 Sony World Photography Awards - Youth Photographer of the Year
Megan Lee is an active duty military member of the United States Navy. She is a nuclear machinist's mate currently stationed in Charleston, South Carolina and is the Sony Youth Photographer of the Year for 2018. She has her own photography studio where she specializes in portraiture and was featured in the July 2018 issue of Amature Photographer Magazine. She is also the recipient of the Shoreline Arts Alliance Top Talent Award for Visual Arts; a local award to her hometown of Guilford, CT and the surrounding municipalities. She strongly believes in the importance of photography as a means to link past, present and future generations and highly encourages the introduction of the art medium at a young age.
