"Dead Lilies" by Seizo Mori

These are the photos of dead lilies, chosen to illustrate the idea of 'lives'. I tried to take photos that look like natural history illustrations, using perfectly dry dead lilies that I lit with two light sources, one over the lilies, and one under them. I retouched the photos black and white to eliminate extraneous elements. I want people to see these images and think that the flowers are alive.
