Sonia Katchian is a documentary, corporate, fine-art photographer, now also in multimedia. Her work is in private and public collections around the world. She is known for her photographs of Japanese life and for her documentation of Muhammad Ali, captured in a connoisseur's collectible edition The ALI Folio™. Ms. Katchian is currently embarking on a series of photo workshops based in Japan for non-Japanese photographers wishing to learn the ropes of shooting in Japan. She was the first woman photographer hired at The New York Post, and is author of the Harper & Row anthology Women See Woman.
