Seascapes
These pictures tell stories of the sea. They show nature, but nature seen through the spectacles of our cultural history. They show time moving on and the unchanging view of the seascape.
The history of a landscape that has always been there becomes a "story and history" through the people who inhabit it, and their imprint. In these pictures, the fragility of the seascape is shown alongside the task to protect it. Sometimes the silence of the sea is broken by a ship, a ghost ship full of stories. At other times the sun seems to trace a line to the sky.
The landscape becomes the stage of our existence. What remains is nature.
