As London awakens from its winter lull, the Sony World Photography Awards exhibition gets ready to return to Somerset House, one of the capital city’s stunning cultural hubs. Here’s to another year of discovering incredible stories - both big and small - and exploring remarkable images shot by some of the world’s most exciting photographers!

The varied display will feature many facets of photography, showing a wide spectrum of the vibrant medium through images that are printed, projected and displayed digitally. In the West and East Wings of Somerset House, you'll discover unique perspectives of photographers and stories that spotlight different cultures, traditions and current topics told through striking visuals that are bound to spark conversations long after you leave.

This must-see exhibition is the place to be this April for photographers, artists and culture-enthusiasts alike. And for a limited time only, we’re offering an exclusive discount on selected exhibition tickets. Early Bird tickets are selling fast and the offer expires on 27 February. Book now to save 20% on your visit!

What to expect this year

  • Award-winning photography from around the world - from wildlife and nature to architecture and design, documentary projects to sport, portraiture to still life and everything in between.
  • Previously unseen works by the 2024 Photographer of the Year, Juliette Pavy. The special curation will showcase two projects that explore humanity's impact on the environment – from shadowing scientists in the Mediterranean Sea to following the lives of Inuits affected by the increasing mercury levels.
  • A selection of works by the 18th Outstanding Contribution to Photography recipient Susan Meiselas. There’ll be excerpts from five of her projects, including some images never exhibited before in the UK. The dedicated solo exhibition draws upon her earliest bodies of work, 44 Irving StreetPrince Street Girls and Carnival Strippers, to her later series Pandora’s Box and A Room of their Own.
  • An exhibition shop that stocks the coolest merchandise - a collectible hardcover 2025 exhibition book, stylish tote bags (in two colours!) and coming soon and new this year: five limited-edition posters to add to your gallery wall.

With only a limited number of discounted tickets available, make sure to book your visit sooner rather than later to benefit from the offer.
