Windows of Horror by Miguel Gutierrez
Looking out was never as dangerous as it is now. The war is felt both at home and on the streets, and windows are now glassless from the impact of missiles, bombs and gunfire. What was once a living room or a dining room is now a box from which people can see and hear the pain and desolation. In Ukraine, each window shows a horror story.
These photographs were taken between March and April 2022. They reflect on how a home is now a space where devastation dwells and how its windows are now frames for the destruction outside.
