Documenting the environmental crisis is a topic we're seeing more and more in the Sony World Photography Awards, particularly in the Professional competition, where photographers of any skill level or experience can submit a photo project. For the 2023 Awards, we've launched the Sustainability Prize, where projects entered into any category in the Professional competition with an environmental focus will be considered. We look back at some of the most striking depictions of climate change from the 2022 Awards, where photographers have focused on our impact on the planet.
