In 2011, UK photographer Andrew Scriven was shortlisted for his open panoramic entry to the Sony World Photography Awards. “That was a defining point in my photography career and definitely changed things for me.”
Now, Andrew wishes to offer an enhanced platform to one photography enthusiast looking to make the same career leap.
One chosen photographer will be given the opportunity to sell his or her work alongside Scriven’s internationally regarded imagery in London’s largest arts & crafts market.
Moreover, this person will also join Andrew on monthly shooting trips within the UK with the eventual opportunity to accompany him on photographic trips abroad.
“I’m keen to find someone who is as passionate as I am about photography,” he says. Andrew’s ideal candidate will share a similar background of travel, landscape and wildlife photography.
A travel enthusiast, Andrew’s Sony World Photography Awards finalist image was taken whilst sailing on a 3-mast tea clipper through Antarctica. Whether trekking the Everest Base Camp, the Colombian rainforest, or scenic vistas within the UK, Andrew’s camera is always poised. “Someone who is really enthusiastic with a lot of energy and a great portfolio” is just the candidate for the position, he says.

The position will involve working three days a week selling photography in London's Covent Garden. The portfolio on sale will include photographs taken by the successful candidate and Andrew from their trips throughout the year.
Andrew hopes his chosen recruit embodies the same excitement for imagery and exploration, as that passion so clearly shines through the imagery. “There’s a personal element behind the pictures,” he says.
For all interested applicants, please contact Andrew Scriven at firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV, cover email and portfolio.
