Walk on By! by David Howarth

Street shot taken on a recent trip to Rome. This lady had been there for some time as id passed her twice through the day.
I was struck by how people just walked on by on one of the busiest and most affluent shopping streets in Rome. After taking the shot i paid my dues and left with her non the wiser of my actions.
The shot is hand held with a half second exposure and slight contrast increase added. D7000 18-105

    Ur welcome, but I have to add something else :). I really like how this lady appears as a constant here and all around her changes. And it's great we can't see her face, as she loses her personality. She's so "petrified" and almost becomes a part of urban mobiliar, not a human. I like the emphasys on her hands, they are so symbolic... So, "Walk on By" is the right title. That's what "Great" meant :).
