    This looks to be heavily digitally enhanced, way above normal post processing. Is it HDR or just lots of photoshopping?

    Whatever, if (and I really find it hard to believe this scene is as captured from the camera) this is really enhanced to the level it looks, why is it allowed in this category?
    Should it not have been in the "ENHANCED" category?
    After all, the RULES clearly state that any enhancements MUST be explained and noted, and There is NO mention of any enancement on this (or many other images in the competition that are NOT) in the enhanced category.

    What is this, a disregard for rules, or a photoshopping competition pretending to be a photography competition.

    PS, I have not even entered, just an observer.

    This is a brilliant picture. @KEN - I think it depends on how you view photography as an "art", if at all. There are various fields of thought on it - but basically, like everything - its subjective. This is heavily enhanced, YES, but does that make it less or more of a picture ? in my opinion, it really doesnt matter, if you like what you see then thats the main thing. As for the guy who took the shot, its his ART, so he does what he wants with it.....like choosing to colour areas in if he feels the need. I dont' think there is such a thing as over manipulation, ITS SIMPLY a matter of choice.
    i do admit I prefer the simple photos without much manipulation, but again thats my choice, others disagree. in a nutshell, photography (in my opinion) is exactly what you choose it to be. if you use a camera, its photography and whatever you decide to do with YOUR image after is your choice.
