    I got mail, I am shorlisted in People Category in Top 10. But cant see my photo here :(
    Got 2nd mail ..I am commended...in Top 50..
    Same thing happen last year also...same situation...
    Is it mockery...Such repated mistake? Misleading information...Please clarify...

    Congrats to those shortlisted... I guess I am surprised though, especially for some to be considered 'photos'. After last year perhaps I was expecting more from as this tends to be the hot category.

    This year I didn't get a mail and that's better than false hope. I was a WPO-favorite and part of the campaign and that is honor enough. Congratulations to all the shortlisted photographers and good luck!

    I have also got the 2 emails, first - "congratulations, your image has been shortlisted in the top 10 images in the People Category", second - "your image has been commended in the top 50 images". And I cant see my photo in the short-list.
    I suppose it is a complete disrespect towards the participants of the Competition - first to send congratulations that the image was short-listed, and then such a bummer...
    How should I understand that???

    well....I also find it very awkward that they send out e-mails to participants telling them that they have been shortlisted and then....ooops...looks like they´re not. Same goes for me. Not sure if that can actually be considered as an error since things like that seem to have happened before.
    I guess if your image is not up there then you´re not shortlisted.
    Perhaps they will apologize for sending out false hopes.

    Congrats to all of the shortlisted. Looks like the UK is not international enough for winning entries in the people category.
