Jez Coulson & Rena Effendi led our City Projects workshops during World Photo London

São Paulo 2012

City Projects Workshop with Steve Pyke This assignment focused on the site of Occupy São Paulo at the Valley of Anhagabu. The purpose was to capture the spirit of the area, Steve split the group to cover street portraits, personal reportage of both protesters and public, as well as a general overview of the area. This project aimed to create and develop a dialogue between photographer and subject.

Student City Project: São Paulo 2012

Student City Project workshops Four local Universities (ESPM, Focus School, Full Frame, São Paulo School) were invited to participate in this unique opportunity. Under the direction of internationally renowned photographer, Steve Pyke, photography students from local Universities participated in a challenging 3 day workshop, in which they were given a photographic assignment to carry out on the streets of São Paulo.

Sao Paulo Portrait Project 2011

This workshop, led by photographer David Graham at the World Photography Festival in São Paulo welcomed photographers of every level; specifically those with a desire to take portraits. Over the course of two and half days, participating photographers learnt how to take better portraits and then were sent on assignments across the streets of São Paulo to capture the many faces that make it such a unique city.
