The wildebeest migration takes place annually in the Masai Mara, Kenya and the Serengeti, Tanzania. It is known as the “Great Migration” and is one of the most iconic events in Africa. Through a combination of telephoto video clips and wide-angle time-lapse sequences, we aim to illustrate the scale and drama of this incredible spectacle. To our knowledge, this is the first time that time lapse has been used to reveal the dynamics of a wildebeest river crossing.
